Queens Unlimited: play as many Queens puzzles as you like
Queens Unlimited is the Queens game with no daily limit. Finish a board and a fresh one is ready straight away, so you can keep crowning queens for as long as you want. Pick an easy 5×5 warm-up, a 7×7 board the size of the daily puzzle, or a hard 9×9 grid with nine colours to untangle.
Every unlimited board is generated for you on the spot and checked to have exactly one solution that you can reach by logic, without guessing. The rules are the same as in the daily Queens puzzle: one queen in every row, every column and every coloured region, and no two queens may touch, not even at a corner.
Choose your board size
Unlimited boards are yours alone. If you want the same board as everyone else, with a new one every midnight, play the daily Queens puzzle.
How to play
Queens is a logic puzzle with no numbers. Crown one queen in every row, every column and every coloured region, and make sure no two queens ever touch.
The rules
One queen per row and column
Every row and every column holds exactly one queen. Once a row has its queen, every other cell in that row stays empty.
One queen per colour
The board is split into coloured regions. Each region also gets exactly one queen, whatever its size or shape.
Queens never touch
No two queens may sit side by side or corner to corner, so a queen blocks all eight cells around her.
One answer
Every board has a single solution you can reach by logic alone. Queens that clash turn red straight away, but a queen in the wrong spot that breaks no rule yet is not marked, so check your reasoning before you move on. The board lights up when it is solved.
Solving tips
Start with small colours
A region of one or two cells has almost nowhere to put its queen. It is often forced from the first move.
Cross out first
Marking cells that cannot hold a queen is most of the work. The queens appear on their own.
Block the neighbours
After every queen, cross out the eight cells around her. New forced moves usually follow.
Colours in one row
If a region sits entirely inside one row, that row's queen is in the region. Cross out the rest of the row.
Mark before you place
Use ✕ freely on cells you have ruled out. Only place a queen when you can say why she must go there.
Pair the regions
Two regions squeezed into the same two columns use up both columns. No other queen can sit there.

About the game
QueensGame.com is the daily home of Queens, the logic puzzle in which you place queens on a coloured grid so that no row, column or colour has more than one, and no two queens touch. Each day brings one new 7×7 board, the same for every player, with a timer so you can compare results.
Unlimited mode has endless boards in three sizes, each checked for a single solution before you see it. Everything is free, works in the browser and is available in English, French and German.
